Happy St Patrick's Day!!

The Savannah St Patrick's Day parade is over and it did not rain! Well, this picture is from the parade in 1986..and it did rain. And I walked anyway!! It stopped and the sun was out in the end. There were rainbows and leprechans everywhere!!

May the sound of happy music
and the lilt of Irish laughter
fill your heart with gladness
that stays forever after!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Happy St Patrick's Day!!

This is a reminder that St Patrick's Day is for parties and parades! Sadly I am in Central Georgia and it is just another day... I must remember days gone by...like the time I was in the Savannah Georgia Parade. It was fun...even though it was raining!
Ahhhh good times!

May the luck of the Irish be with you this fine day!

Half Aprons!

It has been the week for half aprons!! This is the latest addition. I love black and white with a touch of red..don't you?! Although this is the only one that got added this week, I have cut out a stack. Just feeling like making a bunch to add to the shop and I love this fun swingy (is that a word?) pattern! Plus I just sold 5 St. Patrick's Day half aprons to Barcelona, Spain! I guess the universe was telling me something...
St Patrick's Day will be here soon
and that means SPRING!!!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Happy St Patrick's Day to one and all! It's not the best day for a parade in Savannah but I was reminiscing and found this photo from the one St Patrick's Day parade I was in... Now keep in mind it was a few years back...like last century! I was in a play and the theatre had an entry so we all walked to promote the show...all 3 1/2 miles...in the rain. I'm the one with the umbrella! I am wearing a 1960's wool shift dress that was my mom's (notice the belt..it's a rope!) We were such fashion statements! Not the best of ideas, walking in the rain, since it was a musical and the show started in a week or so. It was Camelot..and yes, I was Guinevere. I don't think anyone got sick... Ah the memories...
Wishing you and yours a happy St Patrick's Day! Now off to eat my green grits!! :)

Happy St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day to all!!
Hope everyone celebrated with a little green! It was a beautiful day here and although I did not get to go to the parade in Savannah...I was there in spirit!
May the luck of the Irish be with you all the year through!
